How to divide with synthetic division
Before you get to involved in this problem make sure you first know how to How to read devisions equations.
Rules to follow
- Must be a polynomial of degree 1 Coefficient must be of degree one
- Write all coefficient of the devidend
- If a degree of the polynomial is missing just add a zero as a place holder
- Write the negative of the devisor
-(+1) - Bring down the first number in the dividend
- Multiply devisor by result from previous step
- Grab the sum of the dividends, and cotinue till we have a remainder
- The answer is a polynomial of one degree less then the original polynomial
